Hispanics Only Racial Group Improving Financially In The United States

An interesting study on Hispanics in the United States published by Pew Research shows that Hispanics are the only group in the United States to see their poverty rates decrease and their household incomes rise.

From Pew ThinkTank
Hispanics are the only major racial or ethnic group to see a statistically significant decline in its poverty rate, according to 2013 Census Bureau figures released this week. The drop in the poverty rate among Hispanics – from 25.6% in 2012 to 23.5% in 2013 – contributed to the first decline in the nation’s overall poverty rate since 2006.

This Pew study also goes on to say that the statistical significant change in Hispanic poverty rate decline is also contributing to the overall poverty rate of the United States as whole.
