Is Marco Rubio in Trouble in Florida for 2016

US SENATE 2016 – FLORIDA
Marco Rubio (R-inc) 45%Alex Sink (D) 42%
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D) 43%

Marco Rubio (R-inc) 46%

A PPP poll indicates that Marco Rubio could face a tough re-election fight in 2016 for his Senate seat. Rubio faces tough races potentially from DNC Chairwoman and US Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and possible challenger Alex Sink. These might not be the only people Rubio potentially has to worry about. Former Congressman Allen West earlier last month threatened a primary challenge against Rubio for not standing up for conservative values.

From PPP Polls
Rubio holds narrow leads in a pair of hypothetical reelection match ups, up 45/42 on Alex Sink and 46/43 on Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Republicans would certainly be better off with him running again than they would with Allen West though, who indicated last week that he would be interested in a 2016 Senate bid. West trails Sink 44/38 and Wasserman Schultz 44/40 in head to heads.
