So Much for Sound Public Policy


On this blog I talk a lot about working with specific intentions with the goal of achieving pre-determined outcomes based on the preferred policy outcomes for the greatest good. Nothing bothers me more then when we let emotion or politics drive out public policy decisions rather than data. Rather we should start with our predetermined preferred policy outcome for the greatest good and work back. Too often we start with our preconceived policy preferences based on our biased ideological views. We should focus on how the government can work in the most efficient manner. The article in The Atlantic, Can the Government Play Money Ball ?, highlights this concept better than anything else out there currently. With all of this being said I present to you the Speaker of the House's Facebook posting from last night...
